1. Where are the Agent Orange Exposure Locations? Military veterans who served in Vietnam or the Korean demilitarized zone are presumed by the VA to have been exposed to Agent Orange. According to the VA there are, however, other veterans that may qualify if they are able to show proof of exposure. Other possible exposure locations include:

  • C-123 Airplanes and Agent Orange Residue
  • Blue Water Veterans
  • U.S. Navy and Coast Guard Ships in Vietnam
  • Thailand Military Bases
  • Herbicide Test and Storage Outside Vietnam

2. What are the Agent Orange Eligibility Criteria and Conditions Associated? A veteran with a service connected disability related to the exposure to Agent Orange may be eligible for a number of compensation benefits. The VA has acknowledged several conditions to be presumptive conditions, which means, the veteran does not have to prove service connection. Those conditions/diseases include:

AL Amyloidosis

Chronic B-Cell Leukemias

3. Are There Benefits Available To Children of Veterans Exposed to Agent Orange? Yes, there are compensation benefits available to those children suffering a birth defect due to Agent Orange exposure, but the VA is strict on their criteria of eligibility for these types of benefits.
