The year 2016 featured surprises on many fronts. The Chicago Cubs won their first World Series in more than 100 years and a billionaire real estate developer with no political experience won the White House. However, at Marcari, Russotto, Spencer & Balaban, events were more predictable. We knew going in that reforms to the Department of Veterans Affairs were unlikely to make much of an impact, meaning there would be even more veterans in need of our assistance to secure the benefits their service had earned.
True to form, we fielded thousands of calls from across the country and wound up performing a case evaluation on more than 2,300 clients. Our VA-accredited attorneys were extremely busy and overcame numerous challenges as we moved those cases forward. By year’s end, we had helped more than 70 veterans obtain benefits awards, with hundreds more in various stages of review and appeal.
The incoming administration may institute sweeping reforms to the VA or only make superficial changes. But no matter what it does, our firm will continue to provide quality legal representation to veterans and their families. As veterans ourselves, we understand how important VA benefits are to our clients and their families. So we’re ready to work just as hard in 2017 as we did in 2016.
If you have been denied VA benefits, our accredited attorneys are ready to help. Call Marcari, Russotto, Spencer & Balaban today at 866-866-VETS or contact us online.
