Iraq & Afghan War Fund to Compensate Vets Injured by Explosive Devices

The deadliest threat U.S. military personnel faced in the Afghan and Iraq wars came from improvised explosive devices and other explosive weaponry supplied by agents of the Islamic Republic of Iran. But how could a nation, buckling under the weight of international sanctions, finance insurgents in two large-scale wars? The answer, terribly enough, was that powerful international banks entered into a criminal conspiracy to subvert U.S. and international law by laundering money for Iran, which Iran used to fund terrorist activities. These shocking revelations led to criminal charges and large cash settlements. Now several banks have been compelled to create the Iraq & Afghan War Fund, a pool of compensation for U.S. veterans injured by:

  • IEDs — Improvised explosive devices
  • EFPs — Explosively formed penetrators
  • RPGs — Rocket-propelled grenades
  • IRAMs — Improvised rocket-assisted munitions

If you or a veteran you love has been harmed by any such device, compensation is available for:

  • Loss of life
  • Suicide due to EFP-related mental impairment
  • Loss of limbs or amputation
  • Traumatic brain injury (TBI)
  • Spinal cord injury and paralysis
  • Loss of vision
  • Blast injuries, shrapnel wounds and scars
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

The first step is to file a lawsuit in federal court under provisions of the U.S. Anti-Terrorism Act to obtain a judgment affirming that you or your loved one was injured by an Iranian-backed terrorist device in the Middle East. Claimants must act now, because funds are limited and there is no guarantee more money will be added later.

The Iraq & Afghan War Fund is completely separate from any claim of VA disability benefits, so filing an Iraq & Afghan War Fund lawsuit will not affect your VA benefits in any way.

Marcari, Russotto, Spencer & Balaban is prepared to pursue your Iraq & Afghan War Fund claim aggressively to obtain the full compensation you deserve. Our firm’s founder Don Marcari, former member of the Judge Advocate General’s Corps, is well known for his participation in the JAG trial that inspired the film A Few Good Men. That story boldly illustrates the degree to which our firm is determined to fight for our veterans. If you or a veteran you love has questions about the Iraq & Afghan War Fund or has had trouble accessing VA benefits, call us at 866-866-VETS or contact us online to schedule a free consultation.

Why is the fund only by blast victims

The Iraq War Fund is not open to all casualties of war — only to those who can prove by a preponderance of the evidence that an Iranian-backed terror device caused their injury.

Please send all info to my email so I can pass on to Veterans! Thank You OUT!

I want to know a Grenade be also classify.

Mr. Ford, it is possible that a grenade would qualify. It will depend on service dates and where you were stationed. We would be happy to discuss your claim in more detail. We can be reached at 866-866-8387 or we would be happy to email you.
