Marcari, Russotto, Spencer & Balaban recently received an award for Agent Orange benefits for a veteran stationed in Thailand. This veteran was stationed at the Nakhon Phanom Air Force Base. Based on the presumptive conditions laid out by the VA, Vietnam veterans who served along the perimeters of military bases in Thailand anytime between February 28, 1961 and May 7, 1975, should be eligible for benefits.
Our client was exposed to the Agent Orange during his service in Thailand from 1968 to 1972 working as an Aircraft Electronic Repairman at the Nakhon Phanom Air Force Base. During this time Agent Orange was used around the perimeters of the base to clear flight lines, and eliminate vegetation for base security purposes. Our client was diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus II, which is listed under the presumptive conditions recognized by the VA as well as Coronary Artery Disease.
